About Me
Hey! Iโ€™m Neha Ramana, a UX Researcher with a background in Human Factors and applied Product Design. I study how people perceive, decide, and interact with digital systems, and use those insights to improve usability and product experiences.
My work spans usability studies in medical devices, including AED systems at Philips Healthcare, and UX research in digital healthcare environments, including clinical trial workflows through Medidata. I focus on understanding how people interact with complex systems under real-world constraints, and translating those insights into clearer, more usable designs.

The design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

The design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

The design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.

What Can I Do
UX & Human Factors Research

I uncover insights through user studies, usability testing, and human-centered research to inform designs that truly meet user needs.

Product & Interaction Design

I craft intuitive interfaces and interactive experiences, translating research insights into functional, accessible, and engaging solutions.

Prototyping & Emerging Tech

I explore innovative technologies (Arduino projects, wearable devices, and AR/VR) to create hands-on prototypes that bring ideas to life.

Experience
Haptosphere Lab, Bentley University

Graduate Researcher

Oct 2025 - Current

Waltham, MA

Designed and iterated wearable haptic prototypes with CAD and 3D printing, integrating hardware with an accompanying app workflow

Developed and refined haptic signal amplifier concepts (waveguides, form factor constraints); translated findings into design requirements and prototype changes

Collaborated with cross-functional partners to align with user needs, usability risks, and next iteration priorities for tactile systems
